Recruiter Wins Rookie of the Year Award

July 22, 2010

Regent University School of Undergraduate Studies (RSU) recruiter Lindsay Breitenberg was the recipient of a Rookie of the Year regional award from the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP). The award recognizes outstanding recruiters for their vision for promoting the benefits of Christian higher education and for their ability to effectively communicate those benefits to prospective students.

"The most effective way I reach high school students is by learning what their interests are in order to see how they could fit into an undergraduate experience here at Regent," Breitenberg said. "I am on the phone a lot, and every call that turns into a good conversation is worth it."

Breitenberg came to Regent last fall to join a newly established recruiting team under the leadership of Associate Director of Admissions Denise Bartos. Breitenberg credits her award to Bartos' leadership, training and expertise.

NACCAP is comprised of admissions and guidance personnel from almost 250 Christian high schools, liberal arts colleges and universities, Bible colleges, graduate schools and seminaries throughout North America. Regent's School of Undergraduate Studies has been a member of NACCAP for several years.
