Admission Events at Regent University

Regent hosts many events throughout the year to engage and interact with you - our future student. We have many options to choose from, based on what type of student that you plan to be (residential, on-campus, or online).

Discover Regent Day for High School and Transfer Students

Discover Regent is a chance for traditional aged students (age 24 and younger) who are currently high school or transfer students who plan to study on campus to come join us on campus for a day to discover first-hand the academics, faculty, student life, simple financial aid process and housing options Regent has to offer.

Information Session for Adult Students

Information Sessions offer our adult students who plan to pursue their education either on-campus or online a chance to come to campus to learn more about our 30+ programs available, meet faculty, learn about financial aid and discover the student support services we have for our adult learners. This Information Session is usually held on a weekday after 5 pm or on a Saturday to accommodate the schedules of our adult students.

Online Admissions Webinar

Regent’s Online Admissions Webinar is a chance for prospective students who plan to complete the degree entirely online to join us for a live webinar where they can hear about Regent’s academics, faculty, simple financial aid process, online student support services and how our students learn online. Our Admissions Team will also be available to answer questions via chat or phone call during this event.

Individual & Group Visits

Individual Visits are scheduled by our Visit Coordinator, who will help tailor your personal campus visit to meet your needs. You will meet and go on a personal tour with one of our Admissions Counselors, meet with a faculty member and have an opportunity to apply on-site that same day. Group Visits from schools and other educational programs are welcomed and must be set up with our Visit Coordinator.

Special Events

Government Day for Home School Students

You and a friend are invited to attend our upcoming Government Day at Regent University. This event is for home school students interested in the interworking of government, law and public policy. Don't miss this opportunity to participate in a full day of hands-on learning about Government.  Activities include an interactive U.S. House of Representatives Floor Debate Simulation and an entertaining interpretation of “How a Bill becomes a Law” by the Regent Improv Players. Previous guest speakers include former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and the Chair of Regent's Government Department Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riano.

College Admissions Info Night for Home Schoolers & their Family

Regent University invites home schooled students and their families to come and learn about the college admissions process from Michele Wilcher, a Regent Admissions Counselor and home school mom of 16 years. Regent understands that home school families do not have access to a traditional high school college counselor to help walk with them through their search, application and financial aid processes and that there are challenges specific to home school families when they apply to colleges. This event is the best college admissions resource night for home schoolers in Tidewater! Learn more about College Admissions Info Night for Home Schoolers & their Family.

Scholars Weekend

Scholars Weekend is our distinguished event for high school seniors who want to study at Regent University. Students must submit their application to attend by December 11th. The top applicants are then invited to campus in January for a weekend to compete for several full and partial scholarships through an interview and application review process.

Transfer Counselor Luncheons

Transfer Counselor Luncheons are hosted throughout the year to give high school, community college, and church youth group counselors a chance to experience Regent. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more details about Regent's admissions and transfer policies, academic offerings, campus life and financial aid options.
